Liberty, MO- If you’re looking for the a good scare, look no further. Designer Jim Lewis’s haunted house has been scaring the pants right off people since the haunted house opened in 1990.
Named in the top 20 events in the Southeast by the Southeast tourism society, this haunted house is the second biggest haunted house in Kansas City. .
What is there to offer?
Costumes and make-up are done by professional make-up artists. Rooms in the house include a werewolf forest, insane asylum and even hell. There are several special effects that include thunder and lightening, swamp with blood thirsty alligators and cobblestone street of Jack the Rippers London. Finish with a four story slide plunge in complete darkness faster than you may like
This haunted house is very dedicated and very well prepared. It takes around 6 months to get this chill and thrill house ready. 200 employees work in order to give you the best fright possible. Lastly, takes pride in keeping the house clean, cleaning about four hours after each night.
When and Where?
This haunted house is located at the Community Center in downtown Liberty, MO. Scheduled to be open Friday and Saturday nights, Wednesday, October 31st – Saturday, November 3rd. Gates open at 7:30 and each night close at midnight.
There will also be special Halloween delicacies served that include candied apples, hot cider, creepy candies and cookies. Come enjoy an experience you won’t soon forget and see if you have what it takes to make it through Jim Lewis’s Fright Night!
